Eco Club
The mission of the Borel Eco Club is to educate, inspire, and promote living a sustainable life. We encourage all Borel students interested in the environment to join us for the monthly meetings and get involved in making a difference. Our planned meetings for this coming school year will be held on Wednesdays (minimum days) from 12:50-2:00pm in the art room #13.
Chess Club
Chess Club meets every Tuesday from 3-4 p.m. in room 10. We play other games like Risk, Monopoly, Life, as well as competitive chess.
We have speakers come in about once a month to talk about strategies, such as 12 year old World Chess Champion Daniel Naroditsky, and Burlingame Chess Club President Bob Blatt. Borel staff such as Mr. Beach, Mr. Roach, Mrs. Fenech and even Principal John Cosmos have joined us as special guest players
We also serve cookies or pizza as an after school snack. Please contact Andrea Schick if you have any questions on 458-6262 or email
