Summer Required Reading - Borel students are required to read one book from the Summer Required Reading List during the summer of 2010. You are required to read at least one of the books under your grade level heading or one from the classics or non-fiction section. Start Of School - The first day of school will be Wednesday, September 1. Head Start Day for incoming sixth graders and new students will be on Friday, August 27. The district has informed us that if your child is not in school on the first day, he/she may lose his/her spot at Borel. It is the District's intent to fill vacant spots at our school within the first few days of school so as to stabilize enrollments and support uninterrupted instructional time.
Head Start Day - Can you believe it??? It's May. Before you know it, it'll be August and that means HEAD START DAY 2010!!
